Kansas City Chief player Derrick Nanadi celebrate the super bowl win by donating shelter fees for 109 dogs and to help them in finding a loving and adoptive home.

In the wake of Kansas City’s 31-20 win over the San Francisco 49ers, which gave the Chiefs their first Super Bowl championship in 50 years, the defensive tackle promised to pay the fees for every adoptable dog at the shelter.

“Our community is so excited right now with the Chiefs win and this is such a heartwarming story to add to our city’s excitement,” KC Pet Project’s chief communications officer, Tori Fugate, told The Washington Post in emailed comments.
